Thigpen Heating & Cooling, Inc. was started in 1962 by Joe Thigpen, Sr. Joe delivered oil, the most common means of heating in those days and worked on a few window A/C units. Later in the 60’s, when central A/C became more common, Joe was in the forefront of the business.
